The Barleycorn Music Club aims to promote original music in Cape Town and opens its doors to members and non-members every Monday at 8 pm, for a nightly session filled with local musical talent.

This coming Monday will feature four acts: the universally acclaimed, award-winning singer-songwriter Andre de Villiers; country band Rocking Horse, who have been playing together for over 30 years; Capetonian singer-songwriter and guitarist Alicia Kotze, accompanied by her sister Elzaan Kotze on bass guitar and backing vocals; and Mossel Bay-born Ruby June, whose music combines folk and rock with South African undertones.
