Hinterland is a Naledi-award-nominated play, and the Artscape Theatre Centre is proud to present it.
In the production, the focus of the story is Cecil John Rhodes and Sol Plaatje’s fictional meeting. We see Cecil John Rhodes hiring Sol Plaatje as his new secretary. The two develop an unlikely of friendship. Sol Plaatje’s political career begins. This is when the journey that changes both their lives start.
