Cape Town High School, Gardens

UPDATE: Postponed to Saturday 23 April at 5 pm

The Indigo Skate Gala fundraiser presents a photographic exhibit and mixed mediums art show highlighting 15 years of Indigo Skate Camp.

Professional skateboarder, Dallas Oberholzer created NGO, Indigo Skate Camp to encourage rural youths to get involved with the sport.

All artwork will be set up alongside a skateable 15-foot Olympic pool. All proceeds from prints and auctioned items will go towards Indigo Skate Camp’s mandate of making skateboarding accessible to vulnerable youths in SA.

Invited riders will be sessioning in a contest format skate jam for cash prizes.

Food and drinks will be available, and there is plenty of grandstand seating and a lawn area to chill. Get involved and help skateboarders ‘legally’ take back the city.
