The legendary playwright, actor and director, Dr Kani is making his directing and acting debut at Artscape for the first time in his career. He will be performing the acclaimed play Missing alongside Susan Danford, Buhle Ngaba and Apollo Ntshoko.
Missing follows the life of Robert Khalipa, who has been living in exile in Stockholm for 30 years. With the release of Mandela and South Africa on its way to becoming a democratic nation, the time for Robert to return home has finally come. But this threatens to tear his family apart, as they have built their lives in Sweden.
