Krismis van Map Jacobs follows the story of Map Jacobs, who has just been released on parole after seven years in prison. The play deals with issues like unemployment, poverty, and how displaced communities struggled to find a better life.
The play is based on the novel of the same names and is part of Artscape’s Audience Development and Education Department initiative to help Grade 10 and 12 Afrikaans learners engage with their setwork books in an entertaining way.
