    Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel

No plans for Mandela Day this year? Head over to the Belmond Mount Nelson Hotel in Gardens for the National Youth Orchestra Mandela Day performance.

The program includes Mahler’s transformative Fifth Symphony and Benjamin Britten’s Double Concerto for Violin and Viola. The orchestra will be lead by the Polish conductor, Ewa Strusinska.

Tickets include drinks and canapés prepared by the hotel’s chefs, and proceeds go to the National Youth Orchestra’s work with South Africa’s young musicians.
