ERF 81, Tamboerskloof
Non-profit agricultural organisation Tyisa Nabanye (isiXhosa for ‘growing together’) hosts a market at their location on the slopes of Signal Hill. The area, known as ERF 81, was once a military base, but now plays host to this fairly new yet popular food market.
On offer at the market is a bevy of local handmade organic food produce to purchase at various food stalls, all set up inside Tyisa Nabanye’s barn. Coffee and breakfast is also available, and can be enjoyed with a stunning view of Table Mountain.
