Roger Ballen is an American-born photographer, who has lived and worked in SA since the 1970s. Some of the most important institutions in the world collect Ballen’s work, and he has won awards for photography and filmmaking. Ballen collaborated with Italian curator, critic and writer, Didi Bozzini on The House Project which will be exhibited at Galley Momo.
Ballen’s fascination with the subconscious comes to light in The House Project, which draws on the Analytical Psychological theories of Carl Gustav Jung.
Gallery hours: Monday – Friday 9 am – 5 pm, Saturday 10 am – 2 pm
