Spend your Sunday appreciating the past, with a trip to one of the oldest wine farms on a steam train in a wooden vintage coach dating from 1922! Atlantic Rail is having a day trip from Cape Town to the Winelands that the whole family can enjoy.
The train departs from Cape Town station at 9:30 am. Experience the thrill of vintage travel for an hour and a half and then spend the afternoon enjoying either Spier Wine Farm or Vredenheim Wine Estate. Your ticket includes the following:
At Spier: Return steam train journey, wine tasting (grape juice for children), and animal experience at Eagle Encounters and lunch.
At Vredenheim: Return steam train journey, wine tasting (grape juice for children), and experience at Big Cat Park and lunch.
You should arrive back in Cape Town at around 4:50 pm. Booking is essential.
