Sweet Phoebe is a dark comedy that offers psychological insight into the dynamic of marriage as we see a well-adjusted suburban lifestyle lurch out of control.
The award-winning play was written by Australian playwright, Michael Gow. Interestingly, Sweet Phoebe is the production that launched the international career of Oscar winner Cate Blanchet.
The performance at the Alexander Theatre is directed by Paul Griffiths and stars Matt Newman and Genna Galloway.
