After the success of the clothing launch, atFrits is now opening the first-ever five-star dog hotel in Cape Town.
The hotel provides special packages to suit you and your four-legged friend’s needs. Care is available 24 hours a day; a salon and spa will keep your canine groomed; gourmet meals from the a la carte menu will satisfy any craving; and 24/7 webcams are available for inquisitive owners to sneak a peek. The facility also features a retail store, satellite TV, themed movie nights, a snack bar and a vet to ensure wet noses and wagging tails while you’re away.
Dogs staying at the hotel won’t miss out on their walks – they will be taken for a 45-minute walk in a nearby park every day. It’s a dog’s life at the hotel, with socialising sessions, indulgent naps in luxurious private suites and ‘pet-dicures’ at the doggie spa.
DesignLab’s architect and master hotel designer, Greg Viljoen designed the atFrits Hotel. As the architect behind beautiful South African hotels, such as Upper East Side, The Cape Grace and Fancourt, Greg knows how to create comfort. As a dog lover and owner himself, he has translated this knowledge to cater to the needs of man’s best friends. Greg believes that dogs are an extension of the family and he knows that people can be very particular about how their furry friends are treated. Greg designed the atFrits hotel to ensure that your dog will be as safe and comfortable as you would be in a hotel.
The hotel is situated in the heart of Cape Town for convenient drop-off or pick-up. They also anticipate new dog hotels and daycare centres opening up in the future.
