Known as the home of the singing waiter, Stardust definitely lived up to its promise of an entertaining night!

As soon as I walked in, I was drawn in by the liveliness and pizazz of the place. The décor has the feel of a time gone by with the design of an old school theatre. As well as other vibrant details such as a black grand piano placed on the ceiling, stunning chandeliers and half scooters as bar stools. Let’s just say that there’s always something interesting to look at.

One of the features that sets Stardust apart is definitely their multi-talented staff. We were served by singers and musicians who later entertained us with crowd favourites such as Sam Smith’s ‘Stay with me’ as well as The Temper Trap’s ‘Love Lost’ and ‘Sex on Fire’ by Kings of Leon.

As the night progressed, everyone started getting a bit braver (as one does after a few classes of wine), I saw a lady in her late 50’s get up to dance on her table. I immediately looked around for concerned managers; however, they seemed to be more encouraging than anything else. I never thought I would find a place where dancing on tables was recommended. Needless to say, I decided to join in… when in Rome, of course!

The food was incredible with big portions and a wide variety to choose from. I decided on the bar platter which I highly recommend when you’re visiting!

Stardust is for anyone looking for a quality dining experience and especially for those wanting to tap their feet. It’s definitely a loved choice for a birthday celebration when you get your 10 minutes of fame on your special day. But, remember to book well in advance as the desire to experience more than just another sit-down dinner is popular.
