Last year at this time, levels were at a low 37.5% compared to their current plentiful status.

Locals across the Western Cape are reporting bountiful rains and running rivers.

The Western Cape can expect some cold weather ahead with snow on the mountain tops, as well as a significant downpours for the rest of today. Cold temperatures should subside by the weekend.
