Today’s rains will be the last of the week for Cape Town but dam levels have already seen an increase to 67.4% from the last two days of rain.

Levels are also expected to pick up slightly after rains received throughout today.

Cape Town will only possibly receive rain again from next week Wednesday.

The last 24 hours of rain proved to be generous for many areas across the Western Cape, as George, Cape Agulas and Knysna all received more than 10mm of rain. Other areas including Cape Point, Kirstenbosch and Hermanus fell just short of 10mm.
