It’s no secret that Shimmy hosts incredibly awesome parties, and this summer they really have pulled out all the stops with their Shimmy Summer Calling campaign.
Push Parties, #Ladiesbelike, Pool Parties and Submerged Sundays with Goldfish are some of the biggest weekly events in the city, and the fun is not stopping over Christmas. Here are the events you can look forward to:
Christmas Lunch
Food is an integral part of Christmas, and that is why Shimmy is serving up a buffet feast on 25 December. Starters include a variety of options including sushi and tapas, mains will have a variety prepared meats, fish and vegetables, and there will be 10 desserts to choose from. Enjoy a laid back lunch while looking at the glorious ocean.

Love Brunch is a Boxing Day party that originated in London. This is a daytime party that combines great music, gourmet food and a fun crowd. Headlining the event will be Love Brunch resident, D.A.X. from the UK, with other great international acts lined up.

Head Honcho Birthday Bash
South African clothing label Head Honcho are having their annual birthday bash at Shimmy. Celebrate street style the way you should, by rocking out at a massive party filled with energetic people, pumping music and plenty of sunshine.

Armada Deep

Ibiza Dreams
Who says New Year’s Eve parties have to end when the sun rises? After the NYE party, go home refuel and come back for the Ibiza Dreams party. Flying in from Ibiza and headlining the entertainment is female DJ Sarah Main and Josefin Rosén.

Aztec Jungle
Shimmy will be transformed into a Mayan paradise with their Aztec Welcome to the Jungle party. Not only will you get to dance to jungle drummer and Deep House sounds, there will also be a liquid green laser show, specialty acts and fire performances.
