American actor, producer, director and screenwriter, Vin Diesel is in the Mother City, filming his latest action-packed movie, “Bloodshot”.
Bloodshot is expected to be released in 2020 and is the first live action movie for Valiant Comics. Vin Diesel will be playing hero and main character, Bloodshot, said to be one of the first in a series of many movies filmed for Valiant Comics.
The film will reportedly be R-rated, as the main character is known for killing his enemies in particularly violent ways. The film will draw on on inspiration from classics such as, RoboCop, The Terminator, and Total Recall.
Posting to Instagram a few days ago, the star shared a smiling selfie with our beloved Table Mountain as his backdrop.
Today marks the first day on the set filming Bloodshot and Diesel shared a short video message with fans as filming begins.
