Unleash your inner foodie this chilly season by savouring delectable cuisine, served with world-class beverages in Franschhoek, the cookery capital of South Africa. Four dinners will be held, one on the first Thursday of each month, from May to August, as part of La Petite Ferme’s Wine & Food Experiences.
The esteemed host is La Petite Ferme’s winemaker Wikus Pretorius, who has lent his skills to some of the world’s leading wine regions in the USA, France and Australia. Each evening’s proceedings will launch with a tasting of four wines – one from La Petite Ferme, two from other Cape wine estates and one from an international estate. Given that all wines will be the same cultivar, the event offers a not-to-be-missed chance to compare varying expressions, and the influence of terroirs and methods.
Following this will be a three course meal inspired by Wikus’s globetrotting adventures. This dishes are not on the restaurant’s à la carte lunch menu, adding to the distinctiveness of the occasion.
