Capegate Shopping Centre will see the first ever dinosaur augmented reality exhibition in South Africa – DinosAlive Augmented Reality.

“The extremely successful Dinos Alive expo hosted at Capegate last year has been completely revamped into a super exciting range of augmented and virtual reality experiences”, says Capegate Marketing Manager, Amanda McCarthy.

Cutting-edge technology, along with educational elements will deliver an immersive dinosaur experience.

Kids and adults will be able to learn about the T-Rex, Veociraptor, Stegosauras, Triceratops and the Parasaurolophusa by interacting with these critters on a huge screen, as well as their phone or tablet, by gathering information from computer-generated Dinos.

The Dino’s Alive Augmented Reality expo opens at Capegate Shopping Centre in Brackenfell on December 6. The expo will offer 5 interactive augmented reality and virtual reality experiences, including a large interactive dino screen, virtual T-Rex experience, virtual reality tour and a dino edu-table.

A range of fun activities like online Dino games, colouring-in, dino rides and Dino selfie opportunities will also be on offer for the young and young at heart.

DinosAlive Augmented Reality exhibition will take place at Capegate Shopping Centre at the Centre court, from 6 December 2017 until 14 January 2018, from 10am to 7pm. Tickets cost R65 per person.
