Everybody loves chocolate. I don’t care who you are, where you’re from, you know we all love chocolate. Those who admit to their sweet-tooth pleasures, I’m proud of you. The rest, let’s see how you feel after the Winelands Chocolate Festival at the Blaauwklippen Wine Estate.
The theme for this year’s Winelands Chocolate Festival may as well be ‘larger than life’, because it’s not only limited to chocolate. Although the event is at a wine estate, parents shouldn’t worry. The environment is kid-friendly and the line-up includes activities for the whole family.
The festival will see a variety of products available for your enjoyment. Here’s a list of some of the entertainment and delights lined up for your pleasure..
The Stefano Fashion Show
Drawing inspiration from mint, rose, white and dark chocolates, the quality designs of the Stefano Fashion House deserve to be admired in the Winelands Chocolate Festival. The show is from 11:30 am until 3:30 pm. The morning session showcases Stephan Olivier’s smart-wear range. His occasion-wear collection will be in the spotlight in the afternoon.
If you think health and chocolate don’t go hand-in-hand, think again. Pacari produces chocolate that’s kind to your body. Their chocolates are 100% natural and don’t contain soy, dairy, gluten, chemicals or GMOs.
N2 Ice Cream Lab
If you love chocolate, you love ice cream (this goes without saying). This is how I know you’ll enjoy the milky mix of delicious ingredients, made using liquid nitrogen. N2 Ice Cream Lab invites you on an ice-cream journey as you watch the treat being frozen right before your eyes.
Again, another health-conscious product. Appreciate rich, flavoursome wines from Avondale Wines without compromising your health. These premium organic wines are made using biodynamic agricultural methods, and also created using a healthy vineyard ecosystem.
The Juice Revolution
If you’re concerned about what your kids are going to drink at a wine estate, The Juice Revolution has you covered. Made from juicy and pre-washed raw produce, their juice is nourishing and delicious. And you’ll be happy to know that artificial colourants and preservatives are absent from their blends.
House of Chocolates
With stunning and creative designs, these chocolates qualify to be displayed and enjoyed at any high-class functions. House of Chocolates create turn-down chocolates for hotels and guesthouses. They design shot glasses, masks, company logos and more, all made from their mouth-watering chocolate.
I’m sure you all just drooled after reading this. Well, let me not keep you here any longer. Head over to the Winelands Chocolate Festival for one hell of a sweet, sugary and chocolate-filled weekend!
