Russell Brand has become more publically involved in political and social debates over the last few years. His opinions have kicked up a fuss with those who don’t agree with him, and created a supportive network for those who share the same thoughts and attitudes. One thing that’s certain, is that the funnyman feels comfortable tackling difficult issues, even without jokes if it comes to that – although, a laugh or three is always good for the soul.

You may have seen Russell making waves on his Youtube channel with vlogs known as the Trews (in other words, true news). The Trews were daily uploads of Russell Brand’s thought-provoking and often amusing take on current affairs. Now, Russell is taking the Trews on a tour around the world with his new comedy show called the Trew World Order.

The next stop on the show’s tour is South Africa. After his performances in Johannesburg, Russell will be keeping Cape Town entertained at the GrandWest Casino on Saturday night. Tickets are still available to see the Trew World Order show this weekend.
