Philanthropists, influencers, celebrities, entrepreneurs, business owners and media from across the country, came together in the support of community development at the sixth annual 5 For Change Gala on Saturday 15 July. Over two hundred and fifty thousand rand was raised in support of this year’s five chosen beneficiaries: Ikhaya Le Langa, Numeric, Sunshine Cinema, Dine with Khayelitsa and Community Keeper, all committed to the development and uplifitng society.

MC Siv Ngesi humoured the crowd for the evening, while the likes of renowned electronic act The Kiffness and The Wedding DJ’s treated the crowd to a great performance. A lively auction hosted by David Murray lifted the excitement even further, as well as lucky raffle winners being announced.

All the proceeds from the event will be distributed to the beneficiaries. “Even though the difficult economic times, the generosity shines through and the evening was a smashing success, once again we are humbled by the incredible support at the 5 For Change Galla”, says a 5 For Change co-founder.
