60’s rock and Latin American music pioneer, Carlos Santana will be rocking the Mother City once again next year. Big Concerts has confirmed the legendary singers’ return to South Africa, performing in Cape Town at Cape Town Stadium on 11 April 2018, and in Johannesburg at the Ticketpro Dome on 13 and 14 April 2018.

Santana will be bringing all his chart topping hits to the Cape, like ‘Evil Ways’ which stayed on the Billboard chart for two years. Fans can expect classics like ‘Abraxas’ (“Oye Como Va”, “Black Magic Woman”) and Santana III (“No One to Depend On”, Everybody’s Everything”). The unforgettable “Maria, Maria” will get Santana fans up on their feet, too.

One of the world’s best known music artists, Santana’s music style is a cut above the rest.

With 10 Grammy Awards, a Billboard Latin Music Award 2009 Lifetime Achievement honour, and the 1996 Billboards Century Award behind his name, this is an unmissable concert for veteran Carlos Santana fans and general music-lovers alike. Santana has sold over 100 million records to date, and has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, as well as listed in the top 20 greatest guitarists of all time by Rolling Stone Magazine.

Santana’s special guest will be Mango Groove. Since the multi-platinum iconic release in 1989, the band has become a household name in South Africa. Having sold over a million albums, Mango Groove brings a unique sound like no other.

Carlos Santana will be at the Cape Town Stadium on Wednesday 11 April 2018. Johannesburg concerts with be at the Ticketpro Dome on 13 and 14 April 2018. Tickets prices range from R405 – R1085. Tickets go on sale Friday 8 December 9am on Big Concerts.
