Judge Desai has just ruled that the statement of Henri van Breda is admissable – the latest development coming in from day 22 of the van Breda trial.

What does this mean?

This development now means that the statement Henri provided to the SAPS after the fateful night can be used against him as evidence. The defence council has been trying hard not to let this happen, and have been adamant that this not be admitted.
