Get your most gruesome bloody costumes out – it’s that time of year again when zombies terrorise the Mother City.

The much anticipated Zombie Walk is on it’s 8th year and more popular than ever. Capetonians get to dress up in the most inventive zombie get-ups and grisly make on 28 October at Madison Avenue from 6pm to 4am. Roads will be closed as the undead take their shambolic movement to the streets for an hour of madness.

The event aims to raise funds for abused and neglected animals, as well as street animal so furry friends are most welcome.
After lumbering around, the zombies move on to a smashing party boasting a great line-up. Factory DJs, Casto and Viktoria are some of the artists to look forward to.

The walking dead take their savagery to the dance floor and indulge in zombie themed food and drinks.

Everyone is welcome, but alcohol consumption will be restricted to over 18s – this is an event you don’t want to miss.
