Stepping in from the natural backdrop of the incredible gardens at The Cellars-Hohenort, the Fresh Wellness Spa is a space for guests to unwind and enjoy a selection of signature treatments. Their treatments aim to encapsulate all five senses and portray the lush vegetation of the spa’s location, using oil from the Stellenbosch vines and many natural elements that offer guests an experience that is refreshing and energetic.
At Fresh Wellness, one is surrounded by the plush gardens of the world-renowned, five-star Cellars-Hohenort Hotel, which forms part of the prestigious Relais & Chateaux hotel group. Tucked away in the Constantia Heights, this spa is engulfed in lush scenery.
I was treated to the QMS facial, whereas my partner opted for the Babor facial. The QMS facial is an intensely purifying facial designed to remove impurities and dead skin cells, restore the natural balance of the skin and boost moisture levels through the use of QMS Medicosmetics’s signature soothing and hydrating algae mask. The Babor Skinovage facial focuses on effectively targeting expression and fine lines.
As we lay in heated beds, the lights dimmed, the calming music washed over us. The treatments included facial-, head- and foot massages, and concluded with delightful tea and scones.
The therapists were highly informed and attentive, sharing their knowledge and advising us about appropriate skin rituals and products best suited for our individual skin types.
