Fashionistas took to the 7th annual Red Carpet Fashion Show recently, and 2017’s edition didn’t disappoint.

The Vista Marina in the V&A Waterfront hosted the perfect Mediterranean summer evening. Guests were welcomed with premium Pongracz Desiderius bubbles, Cruz cocktails and Happy Culture Kombucha teas as they arrived dressed in their best champagne gold attire. Plates of falafel balls, delicious dips and zesty seafood made their way around the room, keeping in line with the white hot Mediterranean theme.

An exclusive art exhibition by Ana Kuni and Linnea Frank brought elegance and style to the setting. Pop up style-bars by ghd, Catrice Cosmetics and FoxBox manicures pampered guests for an evening of glamour ahead.

The evening moved into a celebration of local and international designers summer ranges. Names like Shana & Stefania Morland, The Hive Fashion, Jekyll & Hide luxury leather luggage, M Couture, Vilebrequin, and Lola Ramon showcased their collections on the runway.

Eyewear from powerhouse brands Tom Ford and Gucci glamorised each look to perfection, while Charles and Keith footwear elevated every step on the runway. The show stopping range from Jacques LaGrange – an exquisite all-black New York Fashion Week collection – concluded an epic fashion show.

Guests lingered on well after the show to enjoy more bubbly, a sure sign of an evening well spent. We’ll be counting down the days until next years’ show, where elegant collections and style will come alive once again at the Red Carpet Fashion Show.
