Join the Community Chest and hit the streets of Cape Town at a fun run and massive party, for the 33rd annual Twilight Festival.

Community Chest is a non-profit organisation that envisages a country where everyone can reach their full human potential. They focus on four principles: health, education, income generation and community development to promote social change and motivate citizens to be active, engaged and impactful.

The theme this year is ‘Uniting the City for Charity’ and considering all the big hype about the cost of education this year, what better initiative to support – all proceeds raised will go to the education sector.

The 5 km race begins in front of the City Hall, in Darling Street, and then meanders along Long Street, Adderley Street, and Strand Street, through the Company’s Garden with the finish line back at the Grand Parade.

There will be refreshment stations along the race route, and you can expect fabulous food vendors and a bar for over-18s.
