If your stress levels have reached breaking point and you desperately need to escape chaotic city life, Enjo Nature Farm is the perfect place for you. Tucked neatly away in the Cederberg Wilderness area, you are sure to fall in love with the stunning scenery, fresh air and bright stars.

The farms offers a variety of accommodation options. You can choose one of the quaint chalets or cottages, or you can grab a tent and camp out under the trees. The cottages are simple, but elegant in true farm style. There are six, four and three people units available, so if you want to go on an intimate getaway or family holiday there is something for everyone. All the cottages are self-catering and there are braai facilities.

If you really want to get off grid, the Lonely Planet Cottage gives you the isolation you crave. The picturesque white cottage seems like it is in the middle of nowhere. It is so remote that not even Eskom has it on the grid. This is not a problem, as the cottage is equipped with solar heated hot water, a gas fridge, gas stove and solar lamps. There is a small splash pool built on the wall of the cottage, a fire place and braai area.

Enjo Nature Farm has a number of great activities for you to do while you stay there. You can get closer to nature by hiking the various trails on the farm. One of the trails takes you to the top of Krakadouw Mountain, where you can see all the natural splendour of the farm. You can go mountain biking, climbing or just sit and admire the view. There are pony rides for kids, and during lambing season you can bottle feed the lambs. There is a spring-fed damn that is filled all year round for you to swim in, and a river near the camp site.
