A hop and a skip from Robertson town as well as McGregor, and nestled in the Agterkliphoogte Valley lies Windfall, a small boutique wine farm and one of South Africa’s best-kept secrets.

Windfall took its name from South African cricketing legend, Eddie Barlow, who noticed the mist cascading down the surrounding mountains of Robertson, or “The Valley of Wine and Roses” as it’s come to be known.  Five self-catering cottages overlook a beautiful valley with a backdrop of majestic mountains, with beautiful walks and MTB rides easily accessible in the surrounds and on the farm itself. There are a few cellars in the area which offer tastings and cellar tours.

There is a small play area for kiddies which includes a jungle gym, as well as a swimming pool and a dam for those who want to try their hand at fishing or relax at the boma which includes a braai facility and the most magnificent sunsets in the Robertson Valley.

The prize includes:

– 2 nights accommodation stay for 4 people in 1 self-catering cottage on a farm
– 1 mixed case of Windfall Wines (6 bottles)
– welcome basket
Total value: R4500
