Legendary soccer player Diego Maradona, 57, ex-coach of the Argentinian national team stole the show at the Fifa World Cup in Russia last night – but not in a good way. The camera focused on him during the match and he seemed a little disorientated throughout, even throwing zap signs. His behaviour has become the focus of social media, as it would these days. The good news is that Argentina are through to the quarter finals after a late 2-1 win over Nigeria. This has ensured the team’s progression to the last 16.

Maradona also received medical attention at half time, after he complained about neck pain. He posted a picture on Instagram showing him with medical staff.

“I want to tell everyone that I am fine. I was checked by a doctor and he recommended me to go home before the second half, but I wanted to stay because we were risking it all. How could I leave?” – he said on his post.
