Whether you’re the biggest Disney nerd in your friend group or you can’t get enough of the honey-guzzling bear that is Winnie the Pooh, there’s no question that you’ll be squealing with delight when you take a peek inside this “Bearbnb.”
As part of Disney’s 95th Anniversary celebration of the iconic and loveable children’s character, they’ve put together something truly spectacular.
Nestled between the trees of the Hundred Acre Woods, or rather, Ashdown Forest in the UK, you’ll find this incredible Airbnb inspired by the tales of A. A Milne. The Bearbnb can accommodate up to four guests, giving Winnie the Pooh fans a chance “to immerse themselves in the iconic world of Pooh and Friends.”
The best part? The Airbnb is hosted and curated by someone who truly understands every nook and cranny of Pooh’s world – Disney-appointed Winnie the Pooh illustrator, Kim Raymond, who has been drawing the iconic character for 30 years.
According to Raymond, the Bearbnb is all about providing a unique experience and bringing the charm of Pooh to life for fans. Here’s what you’ll get when staying at this one-of-a-kind Airbnb.
- The house is built with exposed tree branches wrapped around the doorway with ‘Mr. Sanders’ inscribed above.
- Bespoke wallpaper designed by host Kim Raymond
- If guests take a peek inside kitchen cupboards, they’ll find shelves stocked full of ‘hunny’ pots.
Along with all these charming trinkets, the home is fully equipped and ensures a comfortable stay for guests. You’ll also have the opportunity to enjoy a guided tour through the original Hundred Acre Wood, play Poohsticks on the iconic Poohsticks Bridge and enjoy locally sourced honey-inspired meals.
There are also a number of wellness products that guests will love – from journals to yoga mats.
