As the national shutdown continues, there have been a few gatherings sighted in the City.
The protestors have now gathered at Parliament. There is a strong police presence but the protest has been peaceful.

As the national shutdown continues, there have been a few gatherings sighted in the City.

A Cape {town} Etc reporter has noted a few dozen protestors gathered at a parking lot close to the Cape Peninsula University of Technology campus in Zonnebloem.
More protestors are gathered near the City Hall and are getting ready to march towards parliament.

The time of the march has not been announced.
So far there have been no signs of violence reported in the City.
