Autumn brings different hues to the leaves and shorter days. It’s a splendid time of year to enjoy the vistas of the Winelands.
The singletrack trails at Knorhoek are not open to the public yet, so grab this opportunity to enjoy them before the numbers descend with Dirtopia’s Autumn Trail Run! Pre-entries close on Tuesday, 19 April. Late entries will be taken on the day if available. Registration starts at 7 am at the Dirtopia Trail Centre.
The 11 km run starts at 8 am and the 6 km trail begins at 8:15 am. All finishers will receive a medal and Coke. The refreshment station will have Powerade, fruit, water and jellies or nuts. Stay for the prize giving and the lucky draw which offers Knorhoek wines and other product prizes.
Coffee will be available from early morning, and after the race, you could have a massage. Health wraps will be for sale, as well as home-made preserves and fresh bread.
