Sunflower Festival is one of the first outdoor music festivals of the season in Cape Town, and when the flowers start to bloom, you know it’s time to blow the dust off the camping gear and head out of the city for a weekend filled with beats, sunshine (hopefully!) and smiles.

Headlining the festival this year is Israeli psy-trance artist Skazi, widely regarded as one of the best in the world, and alongside him will be other international acts including Querox, Berg and Upgrade. On the local music front, some of the Cape’s finest psy artists will be playing too – the likes of sHiFt, Zion Linguist, Broken Toy, The Commercial Hippies and Headroom.

The West Coast Ostrich Farm has been host to many a festival over the years, a great venue which is more or less a 20-minute drive out of the city. Food stalls, chill areas and camping facilities will be available for when a break from the dance floor beckons.
