A major event for the mountain biking community, the Darling Brew Extreme 2015 takes place on the last weekend of the month in (you guessed it) Darling.

This area has some of the most unique trails in South Africa and they change yearly, owing to the crop rotations and moving camps of sheep.

The great thing about the event is that all riders of different experience levels are given an opportunity to ride. From a breezy 18 km trail to the challenging 62 km course (also known as the ‘Bone Crusher’), there is a little something for everybody.

What would a race be without prizes? Darling has some wonderful prizes to be won including local wine and beer, Totalsports vouchers, two Issey Miyaki gift sets, a Fabiani suit (worth R6 000) for the best dressed male rider and a Merida Bike (worth R20 000).
