Glenellen Farm, Hout Bay

Dress up in red, white, and blue to fit in with the theme of the French flag and escape to sunny Paris without boarding a plane. Enjoy a day out with mouth-watering treats, live music, comedy, poetry, movie screenings and more. This family-friendly event features a kiddies corner with a jumping castle and other fun activities.

This year’s entertainment line-up includes cooking demos by two French chefs. The Cape Town-based Nadège Lepoittevin-Dassé will offer tips on how to master your kitchen while she whips up a feast. Executive pastry chef to France’s dignitaries, Kamel Hamzaoui, will demonstrate his sweet pastry skills.

You will receive a welcome bag filled with authentic French cheeses, a French Baguette, and a bottle of fine SA wine, amongst other things. You’re also welcome to bring your own picnic favourites. You could either sit at one of the large, lengthwise communal tables or find a spot on the lawn. Bring décor to create a festive feel.

Enter the R30 raffle and stand a chance to win incredible goodies and the grand prize: a trip to France for two courtesy of Air France.
