The Book Lounge and The Fugard Theatre are happy to bring South African literature fundis the sixth edition of the Open Book Festival, a means for various members of the local and international literary scene, from famous to emerging writers, to connect.

Expect book launches, panel discussions, workshops, masterclasses, readings, performances and more. While The Fugard is the festival hub, there are also events at the District Six Homecoming Centre and The Book Lounge, which are both on Buitenkant Street.

The programme will again include the popular Poetica and Comics Fests, as well as events for younger readers.
