The much anticipated Open Design Festival has begun and is themed ‘Design is for tomorrow’.
The annual 12-day event is an educational, inclusive and collaborative platform that provides Capetonians with the opportunity to share designs with each other.
The aim of Open Design is to show the impact that design and innovation have on economic, environmental and social development.
Activities include exhibitions, pop-up shops, a movie corner featuring inspirational short films and a variety of workshops.
