Yesterday I was wished a ‘very happy Reconciliation Day’ and I’m still trying to figure out exactly what that means. According to Wikipedia, English-speaking South Africans do not have much reason to celebrate but the break was welcomed nonetheless. Coming off the back of the public holiday, the city now really has slipped further into holiday mode and the roads this morning were pleasantly quiet, although I do suspect many a Capetonian is nursing a thick head after Sonar Festival gripped the city for the past two days. I mean, just look how awesome it was.
On the back of all the recent accolades our city/country has recently received, did you know that the dumbest criminals hail from here as well? This video leaked a day ago and shows what could possibly be the most brazen criminal in the country.
