La Motte, Franschhoek Valley
On Monday morning, La Motte is inviting you to join a Guided Hike. A knowledgeable and passionate guide will share information on the flora and fauna in the Franschhoek valley as well as the estate’s sustainability efforts.
Hikers receive a trail map, bottle of water and light refreshments when resting at the Lapa.
Please take note
The circular route stretches over five kilometres, with the Hiking Trail section covering two kilometres.
You will need two to three hours to complete the hike.
The trail has a Grade 1B rating and requires a fair degree of fitness. It is not recommended for children under the age of 10.
Regret, no dogs or mountain bikes allowed.
Safe and convenient parking is available.
