Fans of the Science Café Cape Town will know that the monthly meetups held at Truth Coffee Roasting are absolutely fascinating. This month, mathematical physicist Prof Jeff Murugan will be talking about our journey to the discovery of gravitational waves and how this will impact our understanding of the universe. The talk is titled The Dawn of Gravitational Wave Astronomy.
Entrance is free, but as things tend to get a bit crowded you have to book your spot via Quicket. Enjoy some of the city’s best coffee while learning about the secrets of the universe.
