Catch breathtaking sunsets atop one of the new seven wonders of nature, Table Mountain, at a discounted rate.
The peak of the Silly Season has come and gone and now. As things are returning to normal, from 4 January to 26 February 2016, you can take advantage of the Cableway Sunset Special once again.
The deal runs from 6 pm every day (depending on the weather). Tickets are limited so it’s a good idea to book online. Your ticket is valid for seven days after purchase so there’s no need to fret if your plans change.
The sun sets after 7 pm in summer, so if you get your ride at around 6 pm, you will have more than enough time at the top. Take a stroll along the Fynbos-lined paths and enjoy the magnificent photo opportunities. You could pack a picnic and enjoy dinner and drinks at the top, or try out the Table Mountain Café – the kitchen closes an hour before the last car goes down and the Café closes half an hour before the last car goes down.
Until 31 January 2016, the last car goes up at 8 pm and the last car comes down at 9 pm. For the duration of February 2016, the last car goes up at 7:30 pm and the last car goes down at 8:30 pm.
The tickets are half-price which means that it only costs R120 for adults and R57.50 for children aged 4–17 years.
