This ‘burbs-based eatery is famous for their Eggs Be.Licious: a classic eggs benedict served on toasted ciabatta with confit baby tomatoes and a choice of crispy bacon or smoked rainbow trout. Four & Twenty has mastered many-a-recipe and if eggs aren’t what you feel like, their Sweet Breakfast Hot Dog, a croissant with caramelised banana, fresh strawberries and mascarpone, might do the trick.

3. Clarke’s Bar & Dining Room

All-day breakfast begins at 8AM at Clarke’s. The breads that accompany the mouth-watering breakfasts (buns, white bread and flourless nut and seed loaf) are all baked in-house. Their breakfast selections range from “a good start”, offering smaller sized meals, like muffins and croissants. Then “tartines” that include medium sized meals, eggs on toast, avo on toast and so on. Finally, ‘big’ has your large breakfast meals with all the fixings. Think three-egg omelettes and French toast.

Took a little hiatus but I’m BACK! Had the most amazing time working and playing in Cape Town for the past two weeks. I completely left my whole 30 ways in the dust while I indulged in all the ice cream, frozen iced coffees (fun fact: impossible to get a normal iced coffee in South Africa), toasties (what they call grilled cheeses), and wine ?. I even tried my first ostrich ? and it was delicious. On top of the most gorgeous natural wonders like mountains and beaches, Cape Town is a vibrant city with a great dining culture and tons of cute coffee shops and cafés. I thoroughly enjoyed this breakfast at @mannaepicure, a beautiful restaurant that serves all day breakfast. Sad to leave but definitely recommend visiting to anyone who has the opportunity! ??
