South African star Belinda Davids will be performing in the Britain’s Got Talent (BGT) semi-finals on Saturday, September 26. The show will be live-streamed to a virtual audience and will be broadcasted on iTV at 8pm UK time.

South African fans of the show can tune in on M-Net from October 5 at 6 pm, which is when BGT Season 14 will first air here.

The Port Elizabeth-born songstress took the world by storm with her Whitney Houston tribute concert. She has made South Africa proud with how hard she has worked on BGT.

Davids is in the running for the BGT title and the £250,000 (R5 033 200) prize money.

The South African-born singer auditioned for the the show’s 14th season and blew the judges away. For her audition, Davids sang ‘One Moment in Time’ by Whitney Houston.

Simon Cowell, who is notorious for his blunt feedback said to her: “This was just a fantastic end to a fantastic tour. I love her, that was the moment we have been waiting for.”

Davids is unbelievably talented. She sometimes shares snippets of herself singing on social media and her voice is incredible.
