Take your next get-together with good buds or even your team building event to new highs with Blazed and Infused, a local catering company with a passion for cooking and cannabis.

As South Africa gets used to the idea of cannabis as a beneficial resource rather than an illegal substance, more opportunities are budding, offering locals new experiences and entrepreneurs the chance to seize the day. Local green thumb and award-winning chef, Matthew Smith is doing just that.

“I’ve been a chef since leaving school and after resigning from my job last year I decided to combine the two things I’m most passionate about and most experienced with and create something new and unique,” says Smith.

Through offering private event catering with a unique THC twist, Smith is allowing passionate potheads to enjoy exceptional cuisine with their favourite medicinal herb infusion included.

Wondering how it works? If you have an event in mind and want to offer something a little different, Blazed and Infused can help. They offer event consultation and plan with you to make your event a possibility.

In a private venue of your choice, this canna-company puts together a specially infused menu that suits your palate and your tolerance levels.

From breakfast to supper and even especially baked goods, your ideal meal will be created and infused to perfection.

“My favourite foods to infuse are big roasts, ribs and seafood. Sweetcorn fritters are a real favourite though,” says Smith.

It is important for guests to note that Blazed and Infused does not sell cannabis but rather uses cannabis grown by the clients themselves to create canna-cuisine.

“I do not sell cannabis. I sell food and entertainment,” Smith adds.

If having your own tailor-made cannabis cuisine wasn’t already enough, Blazed and Infused also offers an educational experience during each private function, where you can learn, along with friends, how to make your own cannabis treats and take your canna-cooking to the next level.

“Demonstrations range from extractions, cookery lessons, cookery demos, gummies, hash making, oil and butter making. I tailor the event to whatever the client is wanting for the event,” says Smith.

From infusion tips to how to prepare your cannabis for cooking; you’re in for a high-quality experience, to put it bluntly.
