Ultra-trail Cape Town (UTCT), presented by Saloman is part of the Ultra Trail World Tour. Trail running races including the 100km, 65km, and 35km will take place on Saturday, November 30. Cape Town locals, Kane Reilly and Noami Brand, are strong contenders to win the Men’s and Women’s 100km race.
The 100km race spans across sections of Table Mountain, Lion’s Head, Signal Hill, Orangekloof, Llandudno, Hout Bay, the Constantia Winelands, the upper slopes of Kirstenbosch Nature Reserve and Devils Peak. Organisers are urging Capetonians to come out and cheer for the athletes at the designated spectator zones.
