To be featured on the list of awards is regarded as the pinnacle of achievement as a restaurant on an international scale. The awards span 60 different countries.

A rigorous award process based on a concept unique to the Haute Grandeur relies specifically on feedback from guests rather than a general public vote.

At the gala dinner held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Durbanville Hills’ Tangram Restaurant, joined the ranks of exceptional restaurants around the world, receiving three awards for their excellence in the industry.

They were awarded the ‘Best Restaurant Manager in South Africa’ title thanks to their dedicated manager Dirk Steyn, as well as the ‘Best South African Cuisine on a Global Level’ award and the ‘Best Gourmet Cuisine in Africa’ accolade.

The restaurant is well-known for its stellar menu offering and especially its unforgettable views of Table Mountain. The freshest ingredient are used on a daily basis to offer guests the best experience and most flavourful meals.
