The market is expected to open towards the end of 2023 at the vibrant V&A Waterfront, and this will be its first African location. This is one of the city’s top destinations for tourists and locals to dine, shop and work.

Time Out Market will be located in the V&A food market space and will feature 14 kitchens, four bars and one stage. The event will host approximately 750 guests and visitors will have the choice to sit indoors or quayside with the spectacular view of Table Mountain as a backdrop.

The first Time Out Market opened in Lisbon in 2014 in a historic market hall, turning the location into a popular destination for tourists. Time Out Market has since opened locations in Miami, New York, Boston, Montreal and Chicago and Dubai. More Time Out Market locations are set to open in cities such as Porto, Prague, Osaka and more.
