The Mother City is never short of beautiful sights, even at a time like this. We’re now three days into the nationwide lockdown but the views outside our windows will continue to lift spirits.

While we’re inside our homes for the next three weeks, we can still appreciate the beauty of our city. We’ve asked our readers to share images from outside their windows, doors and balconies from in and around the Western Cape.

Here are some of the images that blew us away today:

While we’re on lockdown in our homes, the city centre has become barren and desolated.
