The Mother city’s dam levels have shown an increase of 0.9% despite the warm and sunny weather of the past few days, reaching 75.9%.

The last dam level reading posted by the City of Cape Town showed that dams were at exactly 75%.

Last year this time, dam levels were at a comparatively low 37.6%.

Although the past weekend’s sunny had Capetonians flocking to their closest beach, rain is still scheduled to make landfall – albeit low levels of rain.

There is a prediction of 30% precipitation for Monday evening, and some may also fall tomorrow.
